Our Misison
To provide compassion and support for patients and their families during their time of need, while maintaining honesty and integrity.
Our Vision
Every person living in our community coping with chronic illness, facing the end of life, or experiencing the loss of a loved one should receive the care and compassion they need.
The number one most stressful event in life is the loss of a loved one. We, at The Nursing Post, are end-of-life planners who provide emotional and holistic support to those who have been diagnosed with chronic or terminal illnesses. We are nurses who have worked during one of the most difficult times in healthcare and noticed a need for end-of-life care. We offer assistance with getting the client's affairs in order from the beginning of the diagnosis, during the transition, and post-bereavement to support the client's loved ones. We provide education and assistance with healthcare proxies, living wills, funeral planning, and post-bereavement organization. We also offer respite services to caregivers needing assistance sitting vigil with their loved ones. We believe that everyone should have as honorable a death as they had in life and no one should transition alone.
The Nursing Post, LLC are licensed practical nurses with a combined experience of twenty-six years in patient care, advocacy, and education. We are end-of-life and death doulas, National End-of-life Doula Alliance (NEDA) members listed in the NEDA's doula directory. We are passionate about normalizing difficult conversations.
